DroneDash spraying operations above a plantation field

Careers

Build drones that do real work.

DroneDash is a small team flying real plantation operations and engineering its own aircraft, sensors and software. If you want your work to leave the lab and touch the field, we would like to hear from you.

Open roles

Where we need people right now.

Every role below works directly on DroneDash's own operations and technology. Don't see an exact fit? A general application is always welcome.

Agriculture operations · Singapore · plantation sites

Drone Operations Pilot

Fly and support targeted spraying operations on plantation blocks — mission preparation, field handling, and the day-to-day discipline that keeps every job on plan.

What you'll do

  • Prepare, fly and monitor treatment missions on plantation blocks
  • Handle aircraft, payloads and mixing on site alongside the ground crew
  • Keep flight, treatment and maintenance records complete and accurate
  • Feed observations from the field back into operations and equipment improvements

What you bring

  • A commercial drone pilot licence (e.g. CAAS UAPL or equivalent)
  • Experience with agricultural or heavy-lift spraying operations preferred
  • Comfort working outdoors in demanding tropical conditions
  • Care for safety, checklists and approved job plans

AI Vision · Singapore

Computer Vision Engineer

Develop the vision that lets our aircraft find and score individual targets in live imagery, and turn those detections into precise treatment decisions.

What you'll do

  • Train and refine detection and scoring models for plantation imagery
  • Optimise models to run on onboard and edge compute during flight
  • Work with flight data, geospatial references and field feedback loops
  • Evaluate model behaviour against real plantation conditions

What you bring

  • Solid deep-learning and object-detection experience (e.g. PyTorch)
  • Skills in model optimisation for embedded or edge platforms
  • Familiarity with geospatial data and imagery pipelines
  • Willingness to test your work in the field, not just the lab

Custom engineering · Singapore

Electronics & Propulsion Engineer

Design the aircraft systems behind our work — battery and power systems, propulsion, and sensing hardware including our in-house four-band multispectral camera.

What you'll do

  • Design and integrate battery, power distribution and propulsion systems
  • Develop sensor and payload electronics, including multispectral camera hardware
  • Prototype, test and iterate hardware through field trials
  • Document designs so systems can be built repeatably

What you bring

  • Experience in power electronics, battery systems or propulsion integration
  • PCB design and bring-up skills
  • Comfort with rapid prototyping and hands-on test campaigns
  • An systems mindset across airframe, payload and software interfaces

Operations · Singapore · regional deployments

Operations & Field Support Lead

Keep complex jobs running — planning, logistics, customer coordination and the crop records that turn each flight into usable insight.

What you'll do

  • Plan and coordinate treatment campaigns with plantation customers
  • Manage equipment, spares and deployment logistics
  • Maintain per-tree and per-block treatment records in AgriSense
  • Report outcomes clearly to customers and internal teams

What you bring

  • Experience running field operations or technical deployments
  • Organisation and communication across customers, crews and engineers
  • Comfort with data entry discipline and geospatial records
  • Regional travel flexibility across Southeast Asia
